On January 3rd, the Market Supervision Bureau of Jinan City held a meeting on the special rectification of Electric Bicycles throughout the city, deploying the task of special rectification for 2024.

The market supervision departments in the city will focus on the supervision of the production and sales of Electric Bicycles, and will strictly investigate and punish the sales of non-standard Ncm E Bikes, unlicensed sales, and online platform sales of non-standard, modified, and unknown sources of electric self driving vehicles. Market supervision departments in various districts and counties should comprehensively investigate enterprise information, strengthen mandatory product certification management, strengthen product quality supervision in production and sales processes, crack down on illegal and irregular behaviors, increase exposure, standardize safety management in usage processes, issue guidelines for regulating online transactions, and carry out specific work such as promoting national standards.
